this is just a poem I wrote tonight. it's about this girl that i've been thinking about a lot.

I Can See Our Initials Carved into A Tree

There's this girl I know. Her name begins with the letter "C." Her eyes are so bright and brown that her gaze itself is an extension of the sun's rays.

She doesn't think that people believe her. I believe her. I believe in her.

When she hears something she doesn't like she responds to it and she doesn't back down. She has this sweet manner of approaching everything. She isn't at all threatening and her points are always argued half-jokingly.

She tries to keep things peaceful between herself and the rest of the world.

Her last name begins with an "A," which is the same letter that my first begins with.

Her innocent laugh and childlike smile make the flowers bloom and the sun shine brighter.

She is confident, but shy when vulnerable.

When she asked me to help her sing I was delighted with the opportunity. She was so cute. Even when she made mistakes all I could do to keep myself from hugging her was to stare at the sheet music and start over.

The intoxication that being with her, even for that short while, gave me lasted for hours.

When she did the hard part right I clapped for her and said that she was doing great.

But I wished that I could have whispered my praises in her ear while embracing her in a gentle hug.

I would've practiced with her all weekend just so I could stare at those eyes lighting up each time she sang the part correctly.

She thanked me for helping her and all I wanted to do was thank her for letting me, but that just would've been strange.

The first letter of my last name is "G."
I can see our initials carved into a tree.

I really do think I have a chance this time.

I really do believe in her.

I really hope she believes in me.

i love the summer. it's pretty awesome. i need to get a job. i really do. i applied at chuck e. cheese but they never called me, so i called them and they said they weren't sure if they were still hiring. so, whatever i don't really want to work there anyway. i think i'm gonna go look for jobs this weekend.
i didn't go to gay pride because someone wouldn't get their ass out of bed to go with me. i was pissed and pretty disappointed, but i guess there's always next year.
all i've been doing is hanging out with my a m a z i n g friends. they rock. a lot.

yes..mostly just eye make-up.
